represents the creation of the universe or the &#8220;big bang&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>In ancient Chinese philosophy, yin and yang is the idea of duality, meaning that opposing forces are complementary, interrelated, and interdependent in the physical world. For the creation, these forces were chaos and order. One dot of the opposite field inside the other symbolizes the whole, the union with the opposite, the coexistence in everything. The line between them shows the ideal state, the state of equilibrium. The ideal situation for every human being is neither chaos nor order, because when everything is in order it looks absolute and if it is in chaos then fear and emotional pain dominate.<\/p>\n<p>Yin symbolizes grounded earth energy, cold, darkness and is directly related to the moon, the oceans. It symbolizes feminine energy.<\/p>\n<p>Yang represents the sun, it is bright, expressive and reckless at times. It is associated with masculine energy.<\/p>\n<p>Examples of yin and yang:<\/p>\n<p>Light and dark: Yin is the shadow while yang is the sun.<\/p>\n<p>Elements of nature: the theory of yin and yang can be applied to the five elements of nature known as \u201cWu Xing\u201d which include fire, wood, earth, metal and water. Like yin and yang, these elements exist in a cycle of life, death and rebirth.<\/p>\n<p>Magnetic fields: One side is north and the other is south. Only when these two sides are placed next to each other can be synchronized.<\/p>\n<p>Coaching model<\/p>\n<p>The model deals with the condition of existence in the land of dimensions. The birth of any reality is created through the coexistence of its opposite. For one to exist, the other presupposes, for balance to exist, it presupposes the existence of both! And so, the cycle is supported and harmony, balance, the world is maintained.<\/p>\n<p>The yin and yang philosophy can be applied in coaching sessions as a way to perceive life, the universe and our human nature within these systems. We often find ourselves pressed by opposing forces that struggle with each other and tend to rob us of true life. We give up and follow one or the other, hurt and defeated, when we can find the line of balance and bring true happiness into our lives!<\/p>\n<p>But does this dichotomy actually apply? Observing the illustration, we perceive on the one side the many colors and on the other the different shades of the same color!! Reflecting on the examples of the traditional symbol we realize that this duality cannot symbolize reality, but only a part of it, that of the most powerful forces at that moment. The day has so many phases, the night too and behind each one there are so many other thoughts, forces, situations! Accordingly, in life we see dipoles, usually opposites, but they hide colors and nuances behind them&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Examples of Yin &amp; Yang Balance Model Coaching Application<\/p>\n<p>Soul and Mind: Two forces that are eternally opposed, and at the same time complement each other. The mind works hard to satisfy the soul in earth, and the soul uses the mind in order to rise it to the next level! In every force is its opposite wrought in a primordial divine balance, and is symbolized by the dots: the mind has the spiritual mind and the soul has the material heart. And balancing these 2 forces comes the curve of balance: peace, harmony, fulfillment of purpose. The outer line which balances the circle, is nourished by the material and spiritual worlds and defines the complex of the human system as it functions on earth.<\/p>\n<p>Development and Pain: Two opposing forces that cannot exist without each other. Development comes after pain, and pain presupposes the need for development. The two dots symbolize the higher self that is hidden in pain and the inner child that is hidden in evolution. Balance is the thin line in the middle of the circle, fragile and peaceful, but also strong and stable to keep forces and conflicts bounded. Only on this curve the person feels happiness, he feels it when he is focused on the present. The curve represents focus on the present, self-fulfillment, self-realization. The outer line is fed by the present and represents the future. The absence of the past is not accidental, since in that state everything was disordered, it was chaos.<\/p>\n<p>Personal and Professional Life: Two forces, two needs that one takes time from the other, if you leave one the other leaves you, if you are happy in one you are happy in the other too. In our professional life, the white dot symbolizes the children, which are what we will leave of ourselves on earth, the continuation of the human species. In our personal lives, the colored dot symbolizes our life&#8217;s purpose, our achievements, our footprint on the world, our contribution to the evolution of technology. The curve is the sweet balance between our multiple roles and our need to be good in them. The outer line is the rest of the world, society, which observing the balance is forced to adapt, accept and embrace the union.<\/p>\n<p>In correspondence: the conscious and the unconscious, profit and a good working environment, friendship and love, discipline and relaxation, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Each of us is a unique being who perceives the world through his own worldview, his own origins, his own values, his own experiences.
